preparation consists of drinking a horrible tasting mixture that results in
uncomfortable diarrhea. This procedure is used to clear your bowels for

Over 50,000 people die from Colorectal Cancer, which is the second leading cancer causing death in the United States. Over 90% of Colorectal Cancer cases occur in individuals who are over fifty. The National guidelines recommend that both men and women over 50 should be screened for Colorectal Cancer by a Colonoscopy. Those with family histories of Colon Cancer should be tested before the age of 40.

There are 2 major benefits to early screening. One, if precancerous polyps are found in your colon, they can be removed before turning into a cancer. Second, screening can find a cancer early so treatment can be implemented. Symptoms of Colon Cancer are: blood in your stools, stomach pain, aches, or cramps that don't go away and unexplained weight loss.

As we mentioned earlier, prevention is your key. By incorporating a healthy lifestyle, you can assist in the prevention of Colorectal Cancer and other forms of this illness. A diet high in green, leafy vegetables, fruits, low sugar, close to no red meat, and minimal alcohol will assist your body in functioning at its highest cellular level. Cancer will not grow when sugar is removed from your diet. Inflammation or lack of oxygen will also discourage cancer's growth. By cutting off this supply, we can hopefully ward off this disease.

Along with a good diet and exercise program, detoxing your body on a semi-annual basis is a primary key to having good health. We recommend colonics during the cleansing process. Your body works like a well-oiled machine. If the fluids back up, your machine will not function properly. It is the same with Colonics. By cleaning out your colon, we remove built up waste and toxins from your system, which will allow your Liver to function at an optimum level. We strongly suggest receiving a colonic 1 day prior to a Colonoscopy. You still need to complete the prep, but it helps you in your colon cleaning process.

If you would like to receive more information regarding colonics, its benefits, and how Clear Way Health can assist you in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, please call Talya Meldy at 310-391-2017 or email at info@clearwayhealth.com.
This cleanse may be for 7, 14, or 21 days depending on your colon health. We will refer you to a profesional nutritionist who can help you through a 30-day colon detox. We recommend using Advanced Naturals Organic Total Body Detox. The ingredients are 100% organic, gluten-free, and use a vegetarian formula. The cleanse is divided into a 3-phase process. We suggest that you closely follow the directions in each step.

Step 1. Detox with the Total Body Herbal Cleanse. These herbs support natural detoxification of your body, vital organs, and blood.

Step 2. Organic Fiber Blend. This blend is a combination of multiple fibers that assist in colon cleansing, organ detoxification, and purification.

Step 3. Organic Colon Cleanse. Bowel elimination is key during a colon cleanse. When the colon is clean, the Liver is able to detoxify naturally. This allows your Liver to perform without stress. The key ingredients in this step assist in soothing and comforting the bowels during elimination. We strongly recommend colonicss during this time. Hydrating the Colon is energizing, relaxing, and completely detoxifying.

In addition to using the Organic Total Body Detox, we highly recommend taking FishMax Ultra. This supplement contains 300mg of EPA and 200 of DHA which supports the brain, eyes, kidneys, and heart functions. You may choose to do an "oil change"' with fresh EFA Blend and Toceutrinals, which is a Vitamin E premium source.

Taking a good probiotic is strongly recommended whether you are cleansing or not. Advanced Naturals Ultimate FloraMax 30 Billion has over 30 Billion cultures in one capsule (30 billion, 50 billion, Vaginal Balance & critical 200 billion, especially after antibiotics)! These probiotics are good for beginners who are just srtarting a new colon cleanse or seeking a daily maintenance program. The 10 Lactobacillus and Bifido strains support both your large and small intestinal microflora. These strains can help mild to moderate digestive irregularities, relieve occasaional constipation, diarrhea, and optimizes intestinal immune health. We offer simple Yeast Max Cleanse that has Oregano Oil and other yeast killers if you want to wash/flush out your dead yeast with colonics and replenish the "good bacteria."

We want to improve your health by repeating this valuable information. Cold season is upon us! Well, it might not feel like cold season living in Southern California, but people are catching colds again this winter. We don't know when a cold will strike, but it's best for your health to know which natural cold agents can be used to fight your symptoms. We want you to be prepared.

1. Zinc has been known to have anti-viral properties. While Zinc cannot prevent a cold, this mineral does possess properties which are known to prevent the formation of certain proteins that viruses use to reproduce themselves. Zinc should be taken within the first 24 hours of your symptoms.
2. Vitamin C. Once your symptoms appear, 2000mg/day is recommended. Too much Vitamin C can cause diarrhea or an upset stomach. Lypo-C is a highly concentrated Vitamin with minimal sugar and can be taken straight out of the packet or diluted with water. This product is "nanized" to bypass digestion.
3. Chicken Soup or Miso Soup. There is something about chicken soup which makes us feel fetter. Properties in chicken soup have some inflammation properties. Miso soup might also help in reducing inflammation and releasing toxins.
4. Tea remedy. Steep some herbal tea with a teaspoon of honey, a small shot of whisky, and a squeeze of lemon. This formula may ease your congestion, soothe your throat, and help you to sleep. Don't drink too much because alcohol will suppress your immune system. Gasoven (formerly stomach complex) has enzymes, green tea and ginger to make an excellent stomach tea.
5. Steam. Inhaling steam often helps with congestion. Whether a humidifier or sitting in a steaming bathroom, breathing in steam can help relieve congestion in your nasal passages.
6. Neti Pot. Nasal irrigation helps clear the nasal passages. Warm water mixed with a saline solution can assist in relief from sinus pressure, facial pain, and other sinus symptoms.
7. Water. Drinking plenty of water helps you to flush your body of toxins and keeps you hydrated, even when that cold suppresses your appetite. We have an excellent product that neutralizes free radicals, alkalizes, and is far more potent that an ionizer machine. This product is very inexpensive when compared to an ionizing machine.
8. Rest. Nothing is better for the body than sleep. It allows the body to restore itself and fight off infection. Melatonin, which helps you sleep, is very important in curing a cold.
But diets are diets and no matter how many of them we attempt, the bottom line is that good health comes from good eating habits. Consistent, healthy, organic habits. These habits will stay with you for a lifetime, whereas diets are fads. The come and go and your weight will fluctuate. Here are some guidelines for a healthy lifestyle.
1.You are what you drink. Water, water, water. Our bodies are made up of 70% water. Our blood is made up of 90% water. Our bodies cannot survive without water. It is essential for cellular health, hydrating our skin, preventing dehydration & preventing a whole host of symptoms that can occur if we dont drink enough.
2.pH Balance. We can't say it enough. "Alkaline bodies are healthy bodies." The more alkaline a person is, the less inflammation, the less disease, & the more energy & productive our bodies will fuction. Eating lemons, limes, & grapefruits are low is sugar & have an alkalizing effect when metabolized in the body. Look it up for yourself.
3.Have a positive attitude. Attitude is everything! Have you ever heard of the self-fulfilling prophecy? What we believe will happen may happen. In order for the body to stay in a healthy state of balance, including a healthy weight, you must find the mental, emotional,& spiritual calm, as well as physical stability. Bottom line: uncontrolled negative thoughts and emotions will often trigger unhealthy eating in a variety of forms, aimed at comforting and consoling oneself.
4. Eat good fats & foods. Avocados are a great source of monounsaturated fats as well as nuts. They are nutrient-dense, have more potassium than bananas, and have one of the richest sources of lutein (protects again cancer & eye disease). Coconuts are a wonderful source of good saturated fats. The good fats in whole natural coconuts may help lower cholesterol & prevent arteriosclerosis. Fresh fish is rich in omega-3s and while you aren't supposed to eat it everyday, it's important to eat. Salmon, trout, tuna, striped bass & red snapper are the best to eat. Green vegetables provide the body with vitamins, minerals, fiber & micronutrients. Grains like Quinoa & raw buckwheat are high in protein & are a great alternative to a completx starch.
5. Supplements. The right type can be an important part of any weight loss program. Many foods are processed in ways that deplete them of more of their nutritional value. When cooked, they lose more nutrients. The only way to be sure you are getting all the vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients you need is with supplements. Finding the right type of supplements are a different story. Drinking your greens is almost better than eating them. Quantum Premier Greens Mix is a concentrated green powder that can be added to any drink or smoothie. Probioticss are also a very important part of any lifestyle, as are digestive enzymes.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is easy to achieve with the proper tools. These are only an example, but Talya Meldy and Clear Way Health can help you achieve a healthy lifestyle through nutritional counseling, supplemental muscle testing, and colonics. Constipation, hemorrhoids, colon and breast cancers, LDL cholesterol, and regulating blood sugars can all be prevented by eating enough of the right types of fiber. But what’s the difference between Insoluble and Soluble fiber?

Insoluble fiber doesn’t absorb or dissolve in water. It passes through our digestive system in almost it original form. Insoluble fiber is great for intestinal health. Benefits are promoting regular bowl movements and preventing constipation; removing toxic waste through the colon in less time; and helping to prevent colon cancer by keeping an optimal pH in the intestines to prevent microbes from producing cancerous substances. It also moves bulk through the intestines and controls and balances the pH in the intestines. Food sources of insoluble fiber are: vegetables (green beans and dark green leafy vegetables), fruit skins and root vegetable skins, whole wheat products, wheat bran, and seeds and nuts.

Soluble fiber forms a gel-like substance and swells when mixed with water. Its benefits include lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, which then can reduce heart disease and regulating blood sugar for people with diabetes. Examples of soluble fiber are: oat/oat bran, nuts, barley, flax seed, psyllium husk, and various fruits and vegetables.

Below are 8 chemicals that should not be present in the products that you use on a daily basis.

1. Propylene Glycol-It's cheap, synthetic, and a skin irritant. This chemical is a base cream used in creams & lotions to make the skin look and feel smooth. The opposite is true. Propylene Glycol may have a reversing effect, causing the skin to be saggy and lose valuable protein.
2. Sodium LaurlSulfate (SLS)-Normally found in shampoos, soaps, and facial cleasers, this chemical has been used for engine degreasers & garage floor cleaners. It has a degenerative effect on cell membranes and may damage the skin or your hair follicles. SLS may cause cataracts and has been known to have the capability of changing basic coding in your genetic materials contained in your cells and organs.
3.Mineral Oil-Appears to be harmless, right? This cheap and petroleum-based oil may clog your skin's pores and enlarge them at the same time. Mineral Oil prevents the skin cells from exchanging nutrietnts and waste products.
4.Fragrance-It's usually synthetic & made with over 200 synthetic chemicals. These chemicals can accumulate in your organs & could possibly cause headaches, lung problems, skin irritations and rashes. Fragrances are cheap toxins and often will be manufactured to imitate herbal scents.
5.Parabens (Propyl, Methyl, Butyl, or Ethyl)-These are preservatives and known to be toxic. Parabens can cause allergies & skin reactions.
6.Imidazolidinyl & DiazolidinylUrea-These are the 2nd most common preserviative to Parabens. Imidazolidinyl & DiazolidinylUreas cause contact dermatitis and release formaldehyde.
7.Synthetic Colors-Used in skin creams or shampoos to make it pretty & colorful. AVOID synthetic colors AT ALL COSTS. These chemicals can cause allergies, skin & nerve problems. They are listed as FD&C or D&C, followed by a number and color.
8.Triethanolamine (TEA)-This is often used to adjust the pH balance. These chemicals can cause allergic reactions including eye problems, dryness in the hair and skin, and may possibly be toxic if absorbed into the body over long period of time.

Always read labels to ensure that you are getting the most pure ingredients in your products. Organic is always best.

The coffee enema is used as a follow up procedure after a Salt Flush. A key benefit of a coffee enema is the that the Salt Flush first clears the Colon of waste which has built up. This cleaning allows all of the beneficial minerals from the fresh, organic coffee to be absorbed through the intestinal walls to give your body maximum cleansing of the Liver, Gallbladder, and other essential organs. It is amazing for your overall health. Using Epson Salt for a flush can be equivalent to a colonoscopy prep. We recommend Pink Salt for intestinal cleansing for the following reasons:

Clear Way Pink Salt uses raw, unheated, highly ionized natural sea salt in place of regular salt. There is no added Aluminum. A Salt Flush cleanses your colon, stomach, and small intestines at the same time. We recommend performing this flush first thing in the morning, when you have access to a restroom. The Salt Flush is prepared by mixing 1 teaspoon of Premier Pink Salt into 16 ounces of warm purified water (this mixture will vary based on your weight, so be sure to ask a Practitioner). After drinking the salt water, on an empty stomach, lie on your right side for 30 minutes. This will insure the salt water moves out of the stomach and travels directly into your intestinal tract. Once the salt water is in the small intestines, the muscle contractions will carry the liquid the rest of the way. In approximately one hour,. you should be able to massage the left side of the lower abdomen and hear gurgling. This means that the liquids which have flowed into the large intestine are almost ready to be released.

A Salt Flush will provide most of you a fast and full bowel elimination within 30-60 minutes. It is possible a second elimination may occur in two plus hours after the initial flush. We recommend continuing the Salt Flush daily for approximately 2 weeks, then taper off. The average person must become a food detective. You are on a special mission to search for hazardous ingredients that are found to be harmful towards your goal of living a long and fruitful life. Many processed foods contain inhibitors for our health.

In Part 1 of this list, I have put together a limited list of problematic ingredients that you should watch for when eating at your favorite restaurant or shopping at the local supermarket. (Part 2 will be a separate blog).

Aspartame (read the book "Skinny Bitch")
Aspartame is a type of artificial sweetener that is marketed under names like NutraSweet or Equal. This substance needs to be avoided. Look at the following evidence:
1. Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., strongly believes Aspartame is an excitotoxin.
2. Dr. H.J. Roberts who is listed in "The Best Doctors in the U.S., states that Aspartame is the last component in wood alcohol which is considered a harmful poison.
3. The Aspartame Consumer Safety Network states, "when ingested methanol breaks down into formaldehyde, which is a known carcinogen."
4. Did you know Aspartame is 200 times sweeter than sugar? This ingredient has fewer calories, which is why it is gobbled up by weight conscious people. Unfortunately, research shows that this supplement causes weight gain and not weight loss.
5. The Technology Review magazine published an article stating Aspartame stimulates the appetite. Researchers believe that any kind of sweet taste signals the body cells to store carbohydrates and fats, which tend to cause the body to crave more food and gain weight.
6. The list of symptoms caused by Aspartame is vast, consisting of pain including migraine headaches, joint pain, eye problems, memory loss, depression, hyperactivity, and a variety of other symptoms.

Splenda (it's not splendid)
Splenda is a Johnson & Johnson brand for Sucralose.
1. The J&J Marketing Campaign says it is made from sugar and tastes like sugar-however it is a chemically created product that uses substances such as chlorine and phosgene, which has been categorized as a poisonous gas.
2. The Center of Disease Control, in Atlanta, Georgia, has described one of the ingredients in Splenda as a major chemical used to manufacture plastics and deadly pesticides.
3. Splenda is 600 times sweeter than sugar.
4. Research in animals with Splenda provides us with numerous concerns including: shrunken thymus glands (diminished immunity), enlarged liver and/or kidneys, slow growth rate, increase in spontaneous abortions, shrunken ovaries, and calcified kidneys.

It is possible to wash away or detoxify these harmful ingredients with colon hydrotherapy and proper eating habits. The best thing to do, of course, is not use these products at all, or ask when eating out if the restaurant uses these "flavorings." We recommend pink "sun-dried" sea salt and courmet Italian Vinegar as well as pure Morrocan Olive Oil for flavor.

Talya Meldy offers nutritional counseling. Did you know that physical, mental, and moral fitness depends largely upon an ample supply and a proper proportion of minerals in our foods? 99% of Americans are deficient in these minerals. When essential minerals are depleted or missing altogether. Our bodies can't optimally process the food we eat. This leaves us malnourished and susceptible to diseases. When minerals are not present, vitamins can't do the job they are supposed to perform.

Restoring and re-establishing our bodies mineral balance is one of the first steps we can take towards restoring wellness and excellent health. Original Quinton is a wonderful resource to assist in that balancing process. It can be taken orally under the tongue, or rectally during a colon hydrotherapy session. Some clients report immediate improvement after taking a Quinton Colonic in their digestion and elimination.

Quinton Marine Plasma is an organic, bio-available and complete mineral supplement that is taken from the center of a protected vortex plankton in the open ocean off the coast of France. Yeast, when analyzed from this prospective, is a basic type of fungus which occurs in many areas of your body. Candidiasis is the most normal type of yeast infection. In women, vaginal yeast infections are a common occurrence; Candida is the second major reason for vaginal burning, itching, and discharge. Candida causing yeasts are found in the vaginas of 50% of healthy women. Candida may overproduce if the environment in your vagina abruptly changes. Antibiotic and steroid use is the most common cause of yeast overproduction.

Vaginal yeast infections occur for a variety of reasons, but the leading cuase is the overuse of broad spectrum antibiotics. Prescription antibiotics kill the bad bacteria you are trying to eliminate, but at the same time they wipe out all your healthy bacteria, which you need for homeostasis. Yeast is not vulnerable to antibiotics and when the friendly bacteria may be destroyed, the internal intestinal envrionment is wide open for Candida to grow unchecked in your vagina.

A poor diet is a very important reason we experience a high frequency of yeast infections. Most people are eating foods containing high levels of sugar, refined carbohydrates, and junk foods containing little nutritional value. Candida's primary source of food is sugar and processed waste foods. Experts in the field say that the more sugar you consume, ther greater the elements you are providing for Candida infections to grow.

Clear Way Health will recommend some simple lifestyle changes, which will help you to reduce and possibly eliminate yeast from your system. First, if you must take an antibiotic, make sure you also take a Probiotic. The Probiotic balance out the intestinal flora and can restore the healthy bacteria that the antibiotic has destroyed.

Second, it is important you eliminate flour, sugar, and yeast from your diet when possible. Candida grows from the consumption of these foods. This will help balance out the flora in your body. Easting more alkaline foods, such as greens and other calcium rich vegetables can restore the body back to its intended balance, which will greatly reduce Candida infections.

Talya Meldy has some important information, which is is waiting to share with you about the various nutritional supplements she has found that will help you to eliminate yeast from your diet. During my segment on Oprah's Ask The All-Stars, some viewers may have been confused between a colonic and colonoscopy prep and I would like to clear it up.

The main difference is that a colonic is a way of life. It is a procedure that is performed to assist individuals with easier bowel elimination and hydration. For some, colonics is a way to assist while cleansing and dieting (clearing out toxins naturally rather than using laxatives). Colonics can be performed on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. Colonics are also being performed in several hospital facilities to assist in preparing for a Colonoscopy (read further for more information). Dr. Hiromi Shinya, MD, is a well-renowned Japanese doctor known for pioneering the modern-day colonoscopy and inventing the procedure to eliminate polyps non-invasively. He is a proponent of enemas and bowel cleansing. In his book, "The Enzyme Factor," he discusses the relationship between enzymes and health. In Dr. Alejandro Junger's book, "Clean," Dr. Junger discusses how to naturally clean and detoxify the body. Through his process, he also supports and recommends colonics. Both these doctors are well-respected and pioneers in their fields. Both doctors (who are western trained) support and recommend putting water up your fanny!!!!

A colonoscopy is a diagnostic procedure that is usually done after the age of 50 to screen for cancer and possible polyps. In order to prepare for the colonoscopy, a person needs to prepare doing "a prep." A liquid diet needs to be consumed 1-3 days prior. The night before the procedure, one or more Bowel Prep Solutions that usually contain sodium phosphate, or sodium sulphate and other unpleasant laxatives are taken to fully clean out the colon for the camera to enter the bowels. This is a process that requires you to be close to home and can be uncomfortable for some people.

Danbury Hospital (Conn.) using Colon Hydrotherapy as a bowel prep. Dr. Joseph Fiorito, Director of Gastroenterology supports the process as a preparation for a colonoscopy. The conclusion of the study was that, "the quality of colon cleansing, overall tolerance, comfort, and convenience were significantly better for HYDRO." www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeWjxHspRKS You can also view this video on my website at www.clearwayhealth.com. Overall, bowel viewing was better on all sides of the colon using colon hydrotherapy, as opposed to the polyethylene glycol-electrolyte lavage (PER-ES and the Aqueous Sodium Phosphate).

As always, if there are any underlying medical issues, consult your doctor. Aside from the fact that we can't live without water, why else is this element so important to us as human beings? Water helps us with weight loss. It can increase our metabolism as well as make us feel full so we don't eat as much during a meal. Water can increase your energy. So many of the benefits we receive from water has to do with staying hydrated. If sufficiently hydrated, you are less likely to feel run-down or depleted, your heart will not have to work as hard to pump your blood to the rest of your body, you can prevent muscle cramping, and you have the ability to exercise longer and harder.

Water also hydrates skin cells, making your skin look and feel younger. Water also helps dissolve waste particles. The more hydrated your colon, the more easily you are able to pass waste. Water dilutes sale and minerals in your urine and can help prevent kidney stones.

Remember the rule of thumb-drink eight 8oz glasses of water a day (or half your body weight). If you exercise, drink more. the more hydrated your body, the more effectively your body can function.

**These statements have not be evaluated by the FDA.**Clear Way Healthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18197149660242293314noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-957214003050763026.post-17762259864676795902011-01-05T10:48:00.000-08:002011-01-05T11:06:44.358-08:00Healthy Colon, No Disease?A healthy colon and bowers may prevent many diseases according to Hiromi Shinya, M.D., Japan's most famous doctor. He invented the ability to clip polyps during a Colonoscopy. IBS, ulcers, bloating, chronic diarrhea, and constipation are symptoms of unhealthy activities taking place in your colon or bowels. 70% of you immune cells are in your intestines. The good flora inside your intestines triggers the immune cells to defend your body from toxins, parasites, and poisons. The longer waste products are allowed to build up in the colon without release, the more your colon becomes a toxic breeding ground for unhealthy bacteria. Although you may have daily bowel movements, maybe 50% or more of the population still has fecal buildup in their colons.

How can we protect ourselves from colon related diseases and promote consistent health for our bodies? Feeling good starts with your health on the inside, not the outside. Keeping your colon clear and clean, allows the good flora to remain, which is what is needed for healthy digestion. Probiotics and colonics are two excellent ways to promote good flora and to get rid of unwanted toxins in the colon. We also have noticed that digestive enzymes aid witih gas and bloating.

When taking a Probiotic, it's best to take a multi-strain mixture. Multi-strain mixtures contain a wide variety of healthy cultures, each with its own special job to do in order to solve digestive problems. You'll feel better, have more energy, and experience the benefits of a strong immune system. People need approximately 85% good bacteria and 15% bad in order to keep digestion healthy. However, the majority of American have this ratio reversed. Probiotics help you to restore that critical balance. They support normal digestion and absorption of your nturients, increase healthy immune function, maintain normal levels of yeast, create a healthy intestinal lining, promote regularity of your bowel function, and support healthy and clear skin.

Colonics rid the body of excess fecal build-up and toxins. As stated, even if you go to the bathroom on a regular basis, there can still be excess waste stored in your body. Colonics help you rid the body of that harmful build-up, which the body is able to release on its own. After a good colon "bath," it's the perfect time to take your Probiotics.

If you would like to receive more information about colon health as it relates to Probiotics and colonics, please contact Talya Meldy at 310-391-2017 or email her at info@clearwayhealth.com.

**These statements are not supported by the FDA.**Clear Way Healthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18197149660242293314noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-957214003050763026.post-4191001345684153712010-12-14T11:31:00.000-08:002010-12-14T11:46:34.767-08:00What Are The Best Sources For Omega-3The best sources from Omega-3 are normally found in a variety of sea foods and vegetables, which will be explained in this blog. Omega-3 is called the miracle food of the 21st century. A large number of medical research studies have concluded that Omega-3 oil helps in the prevention of a variety of illnesses. For example, Omega-3 is critical in the prevention of heart disease. It decreases the risks of abnormal heart rhythm, reduces the levels of unhealthy fats in the bloodstream, and slows the build-up of plaque in the blood vessels. Omega-3 will help you maintain optimum blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Omega-3 is believed to reduce inflammation and can give relief to joint pain, migraines, depression, and autoimmune diseases. Omega-3 assists with healthy brain development and memory function.

Omega-3 fatty oils are found in many forms. DHA and EPA are found in certain types of fish. The best types of fish for Omega-3 include: salmon, mackerel, herring, lake trout, sardines, anchovies, and tuna. These healthy ocean foods appear to have the strongest health benefits. The recommended dose is two or three servings per week. ALA, another form of Omega-3 is found in flaxseeds, walnuts, and dark leafy vegetables. Our bodies can't naturally product Omega-3, so we must receive it from our diet.

Unfortunately, Omega-3's can increase cholesterol, both the good and bad kinds. Individuals with high triglycerides should consult with their doctor before taking Omega-3. Pregnant women, nursing moms, and children should limit their intake of fish. Eating foods rich in Omega-3 is generally quite safe.

For individuals who do not like fish, Omega-3 supplements are another method of receiving the healthy Omega-3 oil. People with cardiovascular disease should take about 1 gram per day. At higher dosages, Omega-3 could interfere with some medications and may increase the risk of bleeding.

If you would like to receive more information about Omega-3 and the supplements that Clear Way distributes, contact Talya Meldy at 310-391-2017 or email her at info@clearwayhealth.com.

***These statements are not supported by the FDA.***Clear Way Healthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18197149660242293314noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-957214003050763026.post-27816485682654322222010-12-08T11:50:00.000-08:002010-12-08T12:10:14.561-08:00Why Is Vitamin D A Key To Your HealthVitamin D is essential for control of normal levels of Calcium and Phosphorus in your blood. Vitamin D helps your system with the absorption of Calcium and is the primary ingredient necessary in forming and maintaining healthy bones. In adults, this vitamin helps in the prevention of Osteoporsis and muscle weakness. Vitamin D protects children against Rickets. Key medical studies have revealed a correlation between low Vitamin D levels and children with diabetes and tuberculosis.

Vitamin D is extemely important for individuals with Thyroid issues. The ability or inability of the Thyroid to work properly is related to the presence or absence of Vitamin D. Vitamin D needs to be present at sufficient levels in your cells in order for the thyroid hormone to affect your system.

Vitamin D is recognized as the sunshine vitamin because the body manufactures it through the ultraviolet-B rays of the sun. Just 10 minutes a day of sunshine is needed to received the benefits from Vitamin D. 15 minutes, 3 to 4 times a week is also sufficient to receive this wonderful health benefit. Two forms of Vitamin D, D2 and D3, are important to human health. When exposed to sunshine, the skin synthesizes D3. Foods may be fortified with either the D2 or D3 form of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is found in fatty fish, eggs, fortified orange juice or milk. Many foods do not contain Vitamin D and supplements are usually recommended to make up for the deficiency.

Clear Way Health markets D3 Serum, which provides a rich, live source of natural Vitamin D. This product does not contain any fillers or toxins. One drop of D3 Serum gives you 2000 IU daily.

A word of caution-taking too much Vitamin D may cause a high absorption of Calcium, which may lead to Calcium deposits in the heart and lungs. This can also lead to kidney stones and possible kidney failure. Before starting a vitamin program, consult a physician.

If you wish to receive additional information about the proper use of Vitamin D, D3 or other health supplements, please telephone Talya Meldy at Clear Way Health, 310-391-2017. Breathing is a healthy, innate, and natural function. We never think about breathing. When we are asleep, it's something we just keep on doing. Why is breathing so important?

When properly done, breathing can help you develop exponentially. Breathing enables you to acquire a greater sense of power, balance, and a sharpening of your mental and physical coordination. Breathing deeply equals instant energy.

Life is demanding and stressful. Work, family, children, and traffic continually cause our frustrations to build. Our physical and mental energies need to adapt quickly to life's changes in order to copy with tension. Relaxation breathing techniques are available through meditation, DVD, CD, yoga classes, and hypnosis. No matter what type of relaxation technique you choose, learning a form of breathing is always a gift. We can use breath as a way to stimulate inner energies. By making sure that the air you breathe is effectively inhaled, energized, and exhaled, you can improve your health and bring life to all your physical movements and expressions. Using your core center, which is located near your navel, proper breathing allows your center to become a strong pivotal point for your physical, mental, emotional overall balance and control.

Our bodies have limitless potential to adapt for all types of living situations. By utilizing the natural gifts we are given, i..e. breathing, we are able to re-direct and focus our efforts in a more positive way. Negativity causes toxins to build up in your system. Stress can cause illness. By effectively handling stress, through breathing, you can limit the effects of unhealthy stresses and thus help you in preventing disease.

For more information on breathing, relaxation, or ridding your body of toxins, contact Talya Meldy at 310-391-2017 or email her at info@clearwayhealth.com.

***These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are only opinions.***Clear Way Healthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18197149660242293314noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-957214003050763026.post-51094413166793450132010-12-08T11:01:00.000-08:002010-12-08T11:32:54.460-08:00Losing Weight Through ColonicsThe holidays are here. You've put on 10 extra pounds. You know that weight which you promised yourself that you would never gain back again? New Years is coming and you resolved to take that weight off. Summer will be here before you know it and you will want to fit into that great bikini or awesome swim suit, which you bought during the fall sale.

Changing your diet is the first step towards losing weight. Sugar, carbohydrates, soda, bread, fake tasty foods have toxins which build up in your colon. These toxins cause your weight to increase, believe it or not. By changing the way you eat (eating cleaner) our bodies get the appropriate nutrients they need to function normally and we have more energy to exercise.

Colonics can help you in the weight loss process. Colonics is the process of cleansing your colon by inserting warm purified water into the colon. The fluids are allowed to sit inside the digestive tract for a few minutes to soften hard waste. When the waste is flushed out of your body, all of the those excess unhealthy toxins depart with them. You weigh less and fell great. Colonics are a safe and effective way to reduce the excess bloating caused by toxic foods that are built up and by undigested foods.

Removing toxins from your body helps you to lose weight because fat is the body's main defense against those unsanitary toxins. If you clean your intestinal walls from those unhealthy toxins, you are taking that first critical step towards cleansing your body from storing those weight gaining waste products. With your intestines clean you are able to absorb healthy nutrients.

Clogged or blocked intestines translate into the body's inability to absorb the healthy nutrients necessary for our body to function normally. A healthy colon can create a healthy body. Even if you go to the bathroom regularly, it's shocking how much is stored up.

For more information about losing weight and the benefits of colonics, please contact Talya Meldy at 310-391-2017 or email her at info@clearwayhealth.com

***These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.***Clear Way Healthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18197149660242293314noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-957214003050763026.post-81913140912476397482010-12-07T10:02:00.000-08:002010-12-07T10:20:47.152-08:00Probiotics and ChildrenCan a child benefit from Probiotics? Adding Probiotics or Prebiotics to a child's diet will provide a benefit in the treatments of viral diarrhea and running stools associated with antibiotics. There is a differencd between a Probiotic and a Prebiotic.

A Probiotic is a supplement or enhanced food that can be normally digested. Antioxidants protect and repair cells from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals cause the disruption of living cells. Antioxidants when consumed in combinations act synergistically, which tells us we should not take only one antioxidant as a food supplement. Placing too much emphasis on one particular antioxidant may cause the full beneficial effects of a healthy antioxidant combination to be missing from your body. A proper balance of antioxidants will generate significant health improvements for you.

Antioxidants can decrease harmful effects caused by environmental factors such as pollution, radiation, cigarette smoke and pesticides. These unhealthy conditions form free radicals, which are harmful to your living cells. Our bodies can normally handle free radicals, but if antioxidants are not present, damage to our cells can occur. Antioxidants act to help prevent cell and tissue damage that could lead to cellular destruction and disease.

There are specific foods and vitamins that are considered to be rich in health antioxidants. Vitamin C foods (berries, strawberries, orange, kiwi, kale, red/green/yellow peppers, snow peas and tomatoes) are found to be the most abundant water-soluble antioxidants in the body. They have the ability to combat most free radical formations caused by cigarette smoke or air pollution. Vitamin E foods (broccoli, red pepper, papaya, nuts and sunflower seeds) are known to be the most abundant fat-soluble antioxidants you can put in your body. And beta-carotene (carrots, asparagus, spinach, kale, mangoes, nectarines, apricots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes).

Consuming antioxidants boosts your immune system, which allows us to fight off colds, flu, and other serious infections. Those healthy foods (fruits and vegetables) whose colors are purple, blue, red, orange, and yellow are rich in antioxidants. Other antioxidants that might help boost your immune system are Zinc (red meat, poultry, beans, nuts, and whole grains) and Selenium (tuna, beef poultry, fortified breads, and other grains) and they will provide a healthy antioxidant combination for you.

Have your own personal consultation about improving your health with antioxidants. Your body's blood must pass through the Liver. The Liver removes unhealthy poisons from your blood and prevents these harmful toxins from making you feel sick. When the Liver isn't functioning properly, these destructive toxins can't effectively be removed from your system. the toxins build and begin to cause health problems.

Before you cleanse your Liver, clean your colon first. As stated, a major function of the Liver is to clean the blood. The best method to help your Liver accomplish this important task is to clean your colon first. This freshly cleansed blood flowing from your Liver will not be contaminated by harmful toxins. If your colon is obstructed with years of accumulated waste, the massive amounts of toxins, which must be removed by a Liver cleanse cannot easily be eliminated. It is extremely important to clean the colon before a Liver cleanse. The most effective way to cleanse the colon is through Colonics. Excess waste and toxins are eliminated through this time-tested process. A Liver cleanse helps clean and detoxify your Liver and it's one of the most effectives ways you can treat your body. Cleansing the Liver will help with bowel regularity, bloating, flatulence, and diet. A Liver Cleansing Diet provides nutrients to clean your Liver and support healing which restroes the body's healthy functions. This diet requires you to consume healthy whoel foods, eat lots of fruits and vegetables (preferably raw) and drink large amounts of water to flush the toxins out of your system. You can add fish twice a week for protein. Basically 80% of your diet should be raw foods and 20% consisting of healthy cooked foods. A key benefits for you is that you will lose some unwanted weight. cleansing poisionous toxins from your Liver will re-open bile ducts, restore energy, and heal the body.

A word of caution...as with any detoxifying process, you could experience symptoms, such as: headaches, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, and diarrhea. These are possible side effects. A Liver cleanse will affect everyone differently.

If you wish to receive more information on Live and Colon Cleansing, it is available to you.
